For over 40 years, our Hexham-based amateur dramatic club has been bringing high-quality theatre to The Queen’s Hall Arts Centre. Our productions span comedy, drama and literary classics, with past shows including Blackadder Goes Forth, Goodnight Mister Tom, A Man for All Seasons, Under Milk Wood and The Vicar of Dibley.
We are always looking for enthusiastic performers and creative backstage team members to join our welcoming company. If you have a passion for theatre, or just want to learn, contact us and be part of our next production.
One Of Our Productions from the last 40 Years:
Directed By: Moya Holmes

Queen’s Hall, Theatre Club brings you satire, songs, slapstick and general mayhem with “one of the funniest productions in the National Theatre’s history”.
Brighton, 1963. Francis Henshall has been fired from his skiffle band and lands not one, but two jobs, hurtling him into an underworld of crooked deals, disguises and criminals on the run. Not to mention falling for a gorgeous bird called Dolly. How can he keep his two guvnors apart as well as getting off with Dolly?
“You got to concentrate ain’t ya, with two jobs. Kaw!
I can do it, long as I don’t get confused. But I get confused easily . . . . . . .” Don’t miss it!
