Canterbury Tales Chaucer
Director
Anna Rossiter & Moya Holmes
June 2004
Performed
A modern take of some of the famous Canterbury Tales and their tellers.
Ranging from pious to comic, the production mixes morality, satire and realism in lively representations of the pilgrims and their tales. The humour veers between erudite wit and good honest vulgarity. An irreverent approach nevertheless brings hilarity and many telling insights.
