Miles Tredinnick’s adaptation of the well-known TV series starring Frankie Howerd. Carry On meets the classics!
The Queen’s Hall Theatre Club presents the newly adapted stage version of the classic Frankie Howerd comedy. Carry On meets Ancient Rome with hilarious results. An evening of erotic intrigue, drag and general comic mayhem as wily slave Lurcio helps Ludicrus Sextus and wimpy Nausius to plan seduction tactics, supported by endless one-liners. There are plenty of willing lovelies in the form of Erotica, Voluptua and Suspenda and some not so lovelies too, as Captain Treacherus and his sidekick Kretinus join in the fun. The ancient Roman version of Viagra helps, until the bottles get mixed up …. Don’t miss a great night out! ……. As Frankie Howerd would have said …. “Oooh Missus!”
